How to Ride in Gravel Tour

We're stoked you want to come ride with us in the Gravel Tour. Let's get you set up so you have everything you need now so when you show up at the event you're ready to ride.

Register to Ride:

Before you can compete, you'll need to fill out our Gravel Tour Entry Form. This provides us with information on where you are from, your riding ability, sponsors, event(s) you plan to compete in, payment information, and will provide you with general information on Gravel Tour.

We encourage our riders to register for all five Stops before April 1, 2018, but if you plan on attending less than five, we encourage you to register with us as soon as you know you will be attending a Stop. When you register ahead of the event, we have time to work you into the lineup with our riders who attend all five Stops.

We encourage our riders to register for all five Stops before (Date), but if you plan on attending less than five, we encourage you to register with us as soon as you know you will be attending a Stop. We require all riders to Register latest the Thursday before the event by close of business hours, or else your entry payment will be subject to an additional $25.00 late fee. If you show up the day of the event and want to ride, we will always do our best to work you in! Remember you still need to attend the morning meeting on the day of competition and you will have to pay a late fee.

Liability Forms:

In order to ride, we must have signed liability sheets for all participants prior to them competing. For minors (riders under 18-years-old), you will need to have your parents or court-appointed legal guardians fill our a Gravel Tour Minor Liability Release. For adults (18 years-old and over), you need to sign a Gravel Tour Liability Release.

All participants have to have the appropriate liability forms filled out before you compete.

Gear You Need:

In order to ride, you will need to bring a wakeboard with boots, a rope and handle, and a life vest. If you forget any of your gear, we will try to assist you in borrowing one from someone else, but why risk it? Bring your own gear. We will have the members of our Pro-Staff on site on the day of competition to check your gear for safety.

Day of the Event:

Check In:

We start our rider check in at 8:00 AM on the day of the event. All riders need to arrive between 8:00 and 9:00 to verify that the following items are in place so you can compete.

Gravel Tour Event Registration Form

Payment

Valid Registration with the WWA

Gravel Tour Liability Forms

When you check in, we will perform a board and binding safety check and inspection. We will also verify with you that you have your bib to ride in.

After we have verified all forms/registrations, performed the safety inspection, and verified you have a bib to wear, each rider will be given a R2R Wristband (Ready to Ride) that the dock person will look for before you compete.

 Riders' Meeting:

Before each contest, we have our Riders' Meeting at 9:00 AM. All riders must attend to hear the rules and regulations of our contest. If you do not attend this meeting you may be subject to disqualification.

Forgot Something?

We understand...it happens. Maybe you forgot your rope and handle, or vest, or even a board. We do not bring extras of each of these items to the Gravel Tour, but we will work to help you find someone who might loan you their gear to ride. We strongly encourage you to double check your gear before you leave home that you have everything you need to compete.
